Now, what was the IONIQ 7 will now be known as the IONIQ 9. As of now, the 2026 IONIQ 9 is set to drop in early 2025. 2026 IONIQ 9 Trim Levels and Estimated Prices

People have been dying to know how much the IONIQ 7 (IONIQ 9) will cost and we finally have some rough estimates. The 2026 IONIQ 9 will start at around $62,000 and go up to around $73,000. For a luxury-style all-electric 3-row SUV, we can get used to these prices.

Hyundai remains consistent with the decision to include the E-GMP platform in the new IONIQ 9. People who know of the E-GMP’s capabilities are relieved to see that it’s returning for this all-new IONIQ model, and that’s not all. IONIQ 9 Powertrain Capabilities

As you could probably surmise from the trims we listed in the pricing above, the new IONIQ 9 will come in both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive varieties. The starting trim will deliver up to 215 horsepower which is exceptional for a base-model EV. Specs for the IONIQ 9 Performance AWD have yet to be revealed, but we have high hopes. What you can expect are self-leveling dampers and torque-vectoring.

What we know about mileage so far is that the IONIQ 9 is expected to reach up to 335 miles in the Long Range RWD model. This places it well above the competition before it even has a chance to hit dealerships.

IONIQ 9 Speed and Towing Predictions

All-electric performance has been blowing us away, and the IONIQ 9 is no different with a 0-62 MPH record of 4.9 seconds with the right model and 21-inch wheels. Trailer mode allows a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds.
